YSoft® Mobile Print Server Privacy Policy

Definition of terms

  • Application – Y Soft® Mobile Print Server.
  • Data controller – The person / legal entity who runs YSoft SAFEQ® software suite at the location where the User of the Application attempts to authenticate in order to use the Y Soft® Mobile Print Server functionality.
  • Owner of the application – Y Soft Corporation, a.s., a company existing under the laws of the Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Brno under Section B, Entry No. 8045, ID No.: 26197740, with its registered office at Technická 2948/13, Královo Pole, 616 00 Brno, Czech Republic.
  • Personal data – Any information regarding a natural person, a legal person, an institution or an association, which is, or can be, identified, even indirectly, by reference to any other information, including a personal identification number.
  • User – An individual using this application.

Personal data

The Y Soft® Mobile Print Server application does not collect any personal information on users. It is designed to download emails that need to be printed, feed the printable file to a print spooler, and delete emails whose attachments have been already printed from the mailbox.

Application authentication and authorization

Access to the mail box is granted by consent page confirmation when the dedicated user is logged in. The following authentication and authorization scenario may be used:

  • A dedicated administrative user gives their mailbox access to the application, so that other users can send emails containing files to print from their devices.
  • The dedicated user gives the application read and write permissions to their mailbox to the application by confirming the consent page.
  • OAuth2 tokens are stored within the application’s working folder.
  • The application can be compromised by stealing these tokens.
  • A compromised token can be used to gain full access to the dedicated user's mailbox.
  • When tokens are compromised,
    • the application rights must be removed from the dedicated google account security page by forcing the expiration of tokens.
    • the application will need to be reauthorized to the mailbox to restore the functionality.

Limited use disclosure

Y Soft® Mobile Print Server's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

Application data

For analysis and troubleshooting purposes, Google collects the following application data:

  • usage frequency and response time
  • errors occurred during a call
  • median latency
